EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will begin Phase 2 of the rehabilitation project along Route 18 on or about Friday.
To this end, the speed limit on Route 18 will be reduced from 45 to 35, the police department said.
“Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and expect delays as the project will impact traffic along the Route 18 corridor,” the police department said.

“It’s always a constant issue in town to try to get as many of the road projects done as quickly as possible. We’ve made a huge commitment over the last six-seven years to doing that,” Cohen said.
Cohen said that Middlesex County also informed the township that they would be working on repaving over 10 roads.
