56 Bags Of Heroin, Cocaine In East Brunswick Traffic Stop: Police
A routine traffic stop on Main St. near the Rt. 18 ramp last Friday yielded marijuana, heroin and cocaine inside a pick-up truck, cops said.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A routine traffic stop in East Brunswick Township last Friday resulted in police unearthing 56 bags of heroin and 25 bags of cocaine inside a pick-up truck, police said.
The 2004 Dodge pick-up truck was stopped at about 5 p.m. last Friday, Feb. 2 after police initially said it made an improper turn in the area of Main Street near the entrance ramp to Rt. 18 south.
After he stopped the car, Patrolman Brian Woodruff said he smelled the odor of marijuana from inside the truck, and said he had probable cause to search the car. A search of the pick-up revealed a quantity of marijuana, 56 bags of heroin and 25 bags of cocaine, police said.

Charged were Juan Carlo Severino-Salazar, 19, of New Brunswick, Tatiana Garcia-Hidalgo, 18, of New Brunswick, David Natal, 31, of North Brunswick and Donnie Dotson, 47, of Trenton. All four were charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute and possession with intent to distribute in a school zone.
Dotson was also charged with possession of marijuana. All four were released pending a court date.
