6 Candidates File To Run For 3 Seats On East Brunswick School Board
The nominating petitions are in. Here is the candidate field in the board of education race in East Brunswick:

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – East Brunswick voters will choose from a list of six candidates when they cast their ballots for the Board of Education this November.
Monday marked the deadline for school-board candidates around the state to file petitions to get on the ballot for the upcoming elections and the County finalized the list late Tuesday night. And now a clearer picture has emerged as to who is running.

- Mark Carangelo (For The Kids)
- Timothy Cummings
- Laurie Herrick
- Dhar Khona (For The Kids)
- Laurie Lachs
Mark Carangelo, Timothy Cummings and Laurie Lachs are incumbents seeking reelection.
Cummings recently took the oath of office to temporarily fill the seat left vacant by Susanna Chiu who resigned from her post in April. Cummings and Dhar Khona were shortlisted for the position and after appearing for a question-and-answer session, Cummings was selected.
