$63K Grant Awarded To East Brunswick Public Schools
The grant program supports the improvement and repair of school recreational facilities, municipal recreation centers and more.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — East Brunswick Public Schools have been awarded a $63,700 Local Recreation Improvement Grant from the NJ Department of Community Affairs (DCA), Senator Patrick Diegnan recently announced.
In its sixth year, this competitive grant program, which DCA administers, supports the improvement and repair of public school recreational facilities, municipal recreation centers, local parks and stadiums statewide.
The funding awarded to East Brunswick Public Schools will be used to install drainage infrastructure, repave a deteriorated asphalt playground surface, and repair sections of an aging asphalt walking path on the district’s school grounds, Diegnan said.
