82-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck, Killed In East Brunswick: Police
Samette Martin of East Brunswick was struck by a vehicle on Monday night, police said.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — An 82-year-old East Brunswick woman was killed after she was struck by a vehicle on Monday night, East Brunswick police said.
On Monday, around 8:26 p.m., East Brunswick Police responded to the intersection of Cranbury Road and Rues Lane for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.
On arrival, police found pedestrian, Samette Martin critically injured. She was pronounced dead.

Cranbury Road southbound at Ryders Lane was closed for over two hours as authorities investigated.
The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by Patrolman Christian Longhitano and Patrolman Ryan Welch of the East Brunswick Police Department Special Operations Section.
