ALDI Holds Hiring Event In Old Bridge June 26

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — Aldi, the discount European supermarket chain that is fast making in roads in America, is holding a hiring event for its new, upcoming Old Bridge store next Tuesday, June 26.

Aldi will also be hiring for its existing stores in Middlesex County. The hiring event will take place at the Aldi store on Rt. 9 in Old Bridge.

What: ALDI hiring event for its new, upcoming Old Bridge store and existing stores in East Brunswick, Edison, New Brunswick, South Plainfield and Woodbridge

Positions: Shift Manager, Full-Time Store Associate

When: Tuesday, June 26 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

At the: ALDI 1043 U.S. Highway 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857

Salary/Wages: Shift Manager: $16.95 per hour ($12.70 per hour plus an additional $4.25 per hour premium when performing manager duties)

Store Associate: $12.70 per hour

Both positions will receive a pay increase after six months of employment

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Drug screening and background check
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday – Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Ability to lift 45 pounds

Employees averaging more than 25 hours per week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage. All employees are invited to participate in ALDI 401(k) program.

Aldi is planning a massive U.S. expansion, growing to 2,500 stores nationwide by the end of 2022. They currently have just under 1,800 U.S. stores operating.
