East Brunswick Skating Rink To Host Mother's Day Brunch On The Ice

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Forget the flowers, this Mother's Day East Brunswick is serving up cinnamon rolls, fresh juice and a spin around the rink.

Registration is open for the township's Mother's Day Brunch on the Ice, set for Saturday, May 9, at the East Brunswick Ice Arena, according to East Brunswick Recreation and Parks.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the arena, located at 1 Arena Dr.

Tickets are $10 per person and must be purchased in advance at tinyurl.com/EBRecMothersDayBrunch or by scanning the QR code on the event flyer. Walk-ins will not be accommodated, organizers said, noting that last year's event sold out quickly.

The brunch will feature open skating with rentals included, food from the Ice Café, a build-your-own cinnamon roll station from Cinnaholic, and wellness juices from Juice 'n Go. A live acoustic performance by Mikey G and Tichy is also planned.

Children will have the opportunity to make crafts during the event, and attendees can enter a raffle for a $100 basket donated by the East Brunswick Education Association, which is partnering with the township on the event.
