Expect Overnight Delays On These East Brunswick Roads Through Oct. 1

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Drivers in East Brunswick should expect overnight delays through Oct. 1 as Middlesex County crews repave sections of three local roads, township officials said.

The work is part of the Middlesex County Department of Transportation's 2026 Milling and Paving Project. Paving will take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting, according to the township.

Here's the schedule:

• Sept. 28-29: Cranbury Road, between Lexington Avenue and Brower Court
• Sept. 30-Oct. 1: Old Bridge Turnpike, between Cranbury Road and Windsor Drive

Police will be on scene to manage traffic and help drivers, officials said.

Motorists are advised to follow posted detours, slow down, use caution and expect delays. Drivers should plan an alternate route if possible, according to the township.
