EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A driver who was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Route 18 in East Brunswick has died, police said.
East Brunswick police received a report of the crash near West Amherst Street around 5:03 a.m. on Thursday. One of the drivers was taken to a hospital after a reported medical episode, according to the department.
Police said the department was notified the next day that the driver had died. The incident has been reported as a fatal crash while the medical examiner's findings are pending.
Police said it has not been determined whether the driver's death was related to the crash.
The crash report has not been completed, and police said more information may be available once it is finalized.
