The Breakfast Club NJ (TBCNJ) invites job seekers, professionals and community members to its October career networking and educational meeting featuring David Schuchman presenting "Uncover the Hidden Job Market."
Some estimates suggest that up to 70% of open positions may not be actively published on public job boards. This presentation will explore why employers often use non-published approaches to identify professional talent and how job seekers can begin to overcome this challenge and become exposed to more professional opportunities.
Attendees will learn about the role of networking, referrals, professional relationships and other strategies for finding opportunities beyond traditional online job postings.
