Car Burglaries on the Rise in North Brunswick Twp., Police Warn

Affected areas include Society Hill, North Oaks Boulevard and the neighborhoods adjacent to Rt. 130 nearest Rt. 1, police said.

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Car burglaries and break-ins have been on the rise in the past few weeks in North Brunswick Township, police there announced Wednesday. In each case, the car was left unlocked, police said. Items from loose change to laptops are being taken.

The areas most recently affected are Society Hill, North Oaks Boulevard and along the neighborhoods adjacent to Rt. 130 nearest Rt. 1, police said. All entries have been during the overnight hours.

Please lock your car doors and remove valuable from your vehicles, police ask.
