Cause Of East Brunswick House Fire Remains Under Investigation
No one was injured in the fire that began around 1 a.m. Wednesday on Berkshire Way in East Brunswick.

An East Brunswick home sustained significant damage in an early morning house fire Wednesday.
No one was injured in the 1 a.m. blaze on Berkshire Way, according to Ron Sommer, the chief of East Brunswick Fire District #1.
When firefighters arrived at the home, they began an “aggressive interior attack,’’ said Sommer. But because of the amount of damage to the home, as well as truss construction, crews had to be pulled out of the house and fight the fire from the exterior, he said.
