EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Watch your stuff if you go to the New York Sports Club on Rt. 18 in East Brunswick: Someone had their wallet stolen at the gym in August, police say, and used the stolen credit card at multiple stores in the area.

The theft happened August 29, but East Brunswick police just reported it today, Oct. 23: A gym patron reported that their credit card was taken from their wallet at the gym. Because the victim did not cancel the card right away, they could see online that it was being used at multiple stores around East Brunswick.

The victim contacted East Brunswick police, which then pulled the surveillance footage from those stores. They were able to make out license plate of a car and linked that car to Vincent Ensana, 39, of Staten Island. He was brought in for an interview with Det. Dennis Chieffro, and Ensana made a full confession, police said.
