"Diversity Rocks" here in East Brunswick, NJ

An event by East Brunswick Human Relations Council, Cub Scouts Pack 501 and 1818 Remembrance Stones/ Lost Souls Memorial Project

Diversity Rocks, here in East Brunswick!

A wonderful lively event where Cub Scouts Pack 501 East Brunswick, NJ painted lovely rocks for our "Diversity Rocks" project of East Brunswick Human Relations Council (EBHRC) and 1818 Remembrance stones / Lost Souls Public Memorial Project . We had guest speaker Jenna Leigh Lucy talk about disabilities awareness to all the scouts and adults. We had EBHRC chair emeritus, Elayne Risley talk about the 1818 remembrance stones project. She reminded us about the brutal slavery! Painting the rocks is one of the ways we can continue to remember the lost souls!
Thank you, Mayor Brad Cohen and Robert Zuckerman for joining us and interacting with the community.
