The Middlesex County Office of Aging & Disabled Services and Raritan Valley YMCA (www.raritanvalleyymca.org) are working to make seniors and the disabled aware of audible prescriptions. Audible prescriptions are a new solution to those with reading disabilities. How does it work?

The pharmacy will attach a small electronic tag to your prescription container. It contains
the same data as the printed label. Place the container on the ScripTalk Station Reader and
hear the label information spoken aloud.

Talk to your pharmacist today about using ScripTalk. They can help you get started
with talking labels! You may also check out Envision America for further information.
facebook.com/EnVisionAmerica or 1-800-890-1180. This is a free service and ScriptTalk is available at all Walmart and Costco pharmacies, as well as many privately owned pharmacies. CVS and Walgreen pharmacies have their own type of device.
