East Brunswick Community Housing Corporation Seeks New Board Member

The aim of East Brunswick Community Housing Corporation is to keep the township affordable by helping low-income families find housing.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — If you are keen to serve on township committees and boards, this is a great opportunity.

The East Brunswick Community Housing Corporation (EBCHC) is seeking a new board member to join the team. The mission of EBCHC is to keep the township affordable by helping low and very low-income families secure decent housing.

The EBCHC purchased and manages 78 rental units in East Brunswick. Through a combination of municipal, state and county funding, mortgages and rental income, the program operates successfully, according to Executive Director, Susan Fein.

The responsibility of a board member includes one evening meeting per month and participation in a committee involving finance, operations, tenant issues or acquisition.

Candidates with interest and experience in landlord/tenant relations, property management, real estate financing and housing related issues and social services are desirable, but not required.
