East Brunswick Education Association To Host BOE Candidate Night On Sep. 27
Residents have been invited to propose a question to the six Board of Education candidates.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — With the general elections just a few months away, the Board of Education race is set to heat up.
The East Brunswick Education Association will host the 6th Annual "Meet the Candidates Night" on September 27. The event will be held at the East Brunswick Community Center at 7 p.m.
Residents can propose a question to the candidates. All they have to do is fill out this form. The question should apply to all six candidates.

It will be an in-person event and residents who can't make it can wat reruns on EBTV.

- Mark Carangelo (For The Kids)
- Timothy Cummings
- Laurie Herrick
- Dhar Khona (For The Kids)
- Laurie Lachs
Mark Carangelo, Timothy Cummings and Laurie Lachs are incumbents seeking reelection. Cummings recently took the oath of office to temporarily fill the seat left vacant by Susanna Chiu who resigned from her post in April. Cummings and Dhar Khona were shortlisted for the position and after appearing for a question-and-answer session, Cummings was selected.
This year's general elections will be held on Nov. 7.
