East Brunswick Girl Scouts To Release 1,000 Ladybugs At Event

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Girl Scouts of the East Brunswick area will be holding an event where they plan to release over 1,000 ladybugs.

The event will be held on Friday, Aug. 20 from 6 p.n. to 7 p.m. at the East Brunswick Municipal Complex.

The event is part of a summer-long project where Girl Scouts raised or will raise over 500 ladybug larvae into adults. As part of the program, girls learn about insect life cycles, metamorphosis, and other aspects of insect life.
