East Brunswick Home On Fire Thursday Morning
Breaking: Police actually started to evacuate part of Williamsburg Court this morning because of a gas leak at the home, too.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — As of 10:45 a.m., a home on Williamsburg Court is currently on fire in East Brunswick, police announced. Police actually started to evacuate part of Williamsburg Court this morning — in a 300-foot radius around the fire scene — because PSE&G was unable to secure a gas leak while the fire continued. The gas leak was a result of the fire at the home.
However, the gas leak was secured and people can now return to their homes, said Lt. Sean Goggins of the East Brunswick PD.
"We started to evacuate due to a gas leak, but the leak was secured and everyone is returned to their homes," he said.
