East Brunswick Honors St. Bart’s Buffalos Team For Undefeated Season
The proclamation was presented to the team by Council President James Wendell, a longtime supporter.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — East Brunswick Council on Monday recognized the St. Bart’s Buffalos 12U Football team for their undefeated season this year.
A proclamation was presented to team members by Council President James Wendell, a longtime supporter of the team.
“This is especially important to me because I have been a St Bart’s Buffalo, I’ve played as a St. Bart’s Buffalos, I served as president of St. Bart’s Buffalos for many, many years,” Wendell said.

“They played the entire season without getting beaten. They actually sent three of their players to the National All-Star game. That’s a tremendous achievement.”
On Oct. 20, the team traveled to Bayville, NJ to play the Berkeley Golden Eagles and the final score of the game was 27-7 against the previously undefeated Eagles, according to the proclamation.

Coach Chad Seyler said he was incredibly proud of the team. “It’s an honor for our program that these kids go down there and show what a small program in East Brunswick can do.”
Seyler thanked the Council for the honor and parents for their support.
