EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick Recreation Department is providing township residents with an opportunity to thank and honor military veterans.

The department has introduced two programs centered around Memorial Day and Flag Day.

Under ‘Purchase A Paver Program’ residents can buy a granite paver and have it engraved with up to 4 lines (40 characters) of text. This paver can then be installed in Veterans Park at the Municipal Complex.

The entrance to the Veterans Park is lined on both sides with pavers from residents. Each paver costs $150 and must be ordered by May 1 for inclusion in this year's Memorial Day observance.

The second program, ‘Field of Flags,’ invites residents to purchase an American flag and have a message attached to the flag pole for display at Veterans Park, beginning Memorial Day through Flag Day.
