East Brunswick Jogger Hit in Hit and Run
The jogger was hit on Old Bridge Turnpike near Gunia Street and the car fled the scene, police said.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - On Thursday evening, March 16, an East Brunswick resident was hit by a car while jogging and police say the vehicle fled the scene.
At approximately 9:54 p.m on Thursday, March 16, the East Brunswick police responded to a hit-and-run accident on Old Bridge Turnpike near Gunia Street where a pedestrian was struck while jogging. The vehicle, described as a Dodge Intrepid, manufactured between 1998 -2004 and champagne or gold in color, continued driving southbound on Old Bridge Turnpike after striking the victim. The car The jogger sustained injuries to his right arm, back and stomach, police said. A portion of the car's front passenger side bumper fell off in the area, from the impact of the crash.
