Learn new computer skills at the East Brunswick Public Library

Are you looking to learn some new computer skills? East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) announced its February 2020 technology training schedule.
“We’re pleased to announce our three-part Tech Skills For Mid Career series,” said technology training coordinator Ysabel Bombardiere. “The goal of this class is to help adults learn the basics of coding and computer science, helping them better use the software they have and do determine if they want more advanced training.”
This is a three-session class starting on February 3 at 6:30 pm, covering such topics as how computers read code and writing simple programs. Future sessions will explain coding languages like Python and HTML.

Bombardiere recommends this series to adults who are comfortable using a computer and have basic knowledge of programs like Microsoft Word and Excel and internet navigation. There is no fee for this class series.
The library also begins a four-part weekly QuickBooks Online starting on February 4. This class explains to use the popular accounting and bookkeeping software. There is a $40 registration fee, which includes access to an exclusive eBook on the program as well as a trial subscription to QuickBooks Online.

Other technology classes include Introduction to iPhone on Tuesday, February 25 at 11:00 am.
