East Brunswick Pediatric Practice Expands To New Route 18 Location

The Route 18 practice, which has seen patients grow from first checkups to college, moved to a bigger facility in January.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A pediatric practice that has served the community for more than a decade has moved into a larger facility on Route 18, marking a new chapter for a provider that has become a fixture in the township's growing medical corridor.

Ivy Pediatrics held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new office at 385 Route 18, Suite E, joined by Mayor Brad Cohen, Economic Development Officer Rob Zuckerman, and representatives from the East Brunswick Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The practice, which first opened in 2004 and established its East Brunswick presence in 2011, relocated to the larger space this past January to meet growing demand.

"This space isn't just about more square footage," said Dr. Igor Trogan, the practice's medical director. "It's about our commitment to meeting the growing demand in the area and ensuring every child receives the high-quality care they deserve in a modern, welcoming environment."

Trogan said the practice has watched its patients grow-up over the past 15 years, "from the very first checkups to heading off to college." Ivy Pediatrics sees patients from birth through age 26 and is currently open six days a week, with plans to expand to seven days.

Cohen, a physician himself, framed the expansion as a sign of broader community growth, noting that East Brunswick has long been home to a sizable medical corridor.

"It's even more rewarding to think about it that as we welcome you — not here to the community because you've been here before — but that we're seeing you grow," Cohen said. "Ivy Pediatrics is basically demonstrating that the growth of our community rests upon bringing new people into the community with kids, and that is always something that we value."

Cohen added that pediatric practices, child care centers, and family-oriented services serve as a barometer for the health of the broader community.
