East Brunswick Photo Project To Highlight Positives Of 2020

East Brunswick Recreation Department is inviting residents to share photographs in the category 'What Brought Me Joy In 2020.'

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — It’s been a year of hardships for many families in East Brunswick. But in a year largely dominated by the coronavirus pandemic, people found little moment that brought them some joy and respite.

The East Brunswick Recreation Department now is inviting residents to share photographs in the category ‘What Brought Me Joy In 2020.’

Participants can interpret the theme in any way they see fit, but all entries must be family friendly.

It could be baking, gardening, hiking, painting, dancing, singing, kayaking, knitting, wood crafting, DIY home improvements, working out, reading, biking, etc.

Participants can submit up to three photographs. All pictures should be sent as jpeg files.

All submissions will be posted on the township website and some pieces will be selected for display at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center or at other Township locations.

This submission is open to age groups, regardless of kill. The goal of the Photography Project is to promote photography in and around East Brunswick.

If you are interested, email your photos to arts@eastbrunswick.org. Include the title of the category in the subject line. Be sure to include your name and the title of the work(s) in the body. You can also include any additional information about the photo.
