East Brunswick Police To Host Chili Fundraiser
The fundraiser is a socially distant, drive-thru event. Proceeds will fund local charitable groups.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick police is hosting a chili fundraiser at CareOne East Brunswick Assisted Living on Nov. 12.
The event is being hosted by The East Brunswick PBA Locals, 145 and 145A (Superior Officers Association) and all food has been donated by CareOne East Brunswick Assisted Living.
The fundraiser is a socially distant grab-and-go, drive-thru event. Social distancing and face coverings are required.

The proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit future PBA 145 and 145A charitable events including support to local charitable groups such as the Aldersgate Outreach Community Center (AOCC), located at 569 Ryders Lane.
The AOCC is a major outreach of Aldersgate Church that has a food bank which provides for hundreds of families each month.

Additionally, there is a thrift store which sells clothing and other items to low income families. The proceeds earned from the store are used to purchase food for the food bank.
