East Brunswick Public Library Hosts Two Business Programs This Month

East Brunswick Public Library hosts two special online “Lunch N’ Learn Programs” for small businesses this September. They are held in the early afternoon, so attendees can watch the program while they are on their lunch break.

The first program, “Website Tips for Small Businesses,” is co-sponsored with SCORE Princeton on Tuesday, September 13 at 12:15 pm. Your website is a key component of an online marketing presence. Join information technology professional David Schuchman as he discusses 10 tips to help your small business website get noticed and generate the desired impact.

The second program, “Take A Business Break: What’s With The Whacky Stock Market? Or Is It Normal,” is presented by Edward Mendlowitz, CPA, on Thursday, September 12 at noon. He covers what's going on with the stock market and several other topics, including if investing in index funds is right for you, alternative investments, a comparison of the stock market and bank certificates of deposits, the four “guarantees” of what will happen in the future, and some other information you should be aware of with your investments that you won’t hear anywhere else.

Mendlowitz is an emeritus partner at WithumSmith+Brown, PC and is one of Accounting Today’s 100 Most Influential People. He wrote 29 books, over 1500 articles and presented over 350 speeches.
