East Brunswick Reschedules Fireworks Celebration To Labor Day Weekend

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — East Brunswick's Fourth of July fireworks celebration, postponed due to weather, will now take place Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Community Arts Center, according to the township.

The rescheduled "Summer Grand Finale Fireworks" event begins at 6 p.m. and will serve as a celebration of America's 250th birthday, the township said.

The evening will include a fireworks finale, more than 20 food trucks, and live music from the Mikey G Band and the East Brunswick Symphony Orchestra, according to organizers.

The event will also feature an "America 250: Tribute March" and family activities, with additional patriotic surprises planned.

The township thanked Route 18 Auto, the event's title sponsor, for supporting the celebration.
