East Brunswick Residents Call in Suspicious Vehicle; 4 Arrested
The suspects stole jewelry from a home on Sullivan Way Dec. 21, police said. The burglary was tied to a Bridgewater home invasion as well.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Four people were arrested late last month in East Brunswick Township after concerned residents reported a suspicious vehicle on Sullivan Way. When police officers responded, they discovered a home on the street had just been burglarized that day, Dec. 21. The arrests and subsequent investigation assisted Bridgewater Police Department in solving a burglary in their township on the same day, police said.
At about 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, multiple residents called 911 after they said they saw a suspicious car on Sullivan Way. One caller had reported seeing occupants exit the vehicle and approach several houses along Sullivan Way. Officers located the vehicle, which was occupied by a woman and two men. A third man was unaccounted for.
Patrol units, along with detectives, searched the area for the man and any signs of burglary to homes. That's when police said they found a home on Sullivan Way that had just been burglarized. A man fitting the description was stopped in a taxi on Corona Road. He had been dropped off by the three people in the car, police said.

The man, Ryan Carroll, 24, of North Brunswick, was found in possession of stolen property, specifically, numerous pieces of jewelry that were reported stolen by the resident on Sullivan Way. The car's three other occupants, Shanita Daniels, 23, of New Brunswick, Shawn Pellichero, 31, of North Brunswick, and a 17-year-old man from New Brunswick, were in possession of suspected stolen jewelry, heroin, burglary tools and $2,681 in cash, police said.
