East Brunswick School Board Election: See Who's Running In 2022

Five candidates will be running for three seats on the Board of Education.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – Five candidates have filed petitions to run for three seats on the East Brunswick Board of Education, according to the Middlesex County Clerk’s office.

Incumbents Mark Csizmar, Heather Allison Guas and Liwu Hong are seeking reelection.

Others who filed nominations are Joseph "Yosef" Schmidt and Alexander Spielman.

Csizmar was appointed to a vacant seat in 2018. In 2020 he was elected to a three-year term. Guas was elected to a three-year term in 2020. Hong is seeking a third term, having been elected to the Board in 2017.

The last day to file applications to run for the BOE race was Monday 4 p.m. All candidates are seeking three-year terms.

Election in New Jersey will be held on Nov. 8.
