East Brunswick Schools To Host Pediatric COVID Vaccine Clinic

The first dose clinic will be held on Friday, Nov. 19 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Hammarskjold Middle School.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick school district will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for students aged 5 and above, the district announced last week.

Superintendent Victor Valeski sent out a message to the school community informing them of the vaccine clinic. The clinic is being held in partnership with Walmart.

The first dose clinic will be held on Friday, Nov. 19 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the second dose will be administered three weeks later on Friday, Dec. 10 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Both clinics will be held at Hammarskjold Middle School located at 200 Rues Lane.

Parents who want to get their children vaccinated were asked to fill out a registration form no later than Nov. 11.

“We expect a limited number of vaccine appointments. We will allocate vaccine appointments on a first come first serve basis,” Valeski said.

It’s not clear how many parents or guardians registered their child for the vaccine, but currently, the vaccine supply is limited nationwide.
