East Brunswick Schools To Host Virtual Mental Health Series
Tuesday's presentation will address students' return to classrooms and COVID-19 related mental health challenges faced by the community.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ —The COVID-19 pandemic has not only created a learning gap among students but has also impacted their mental health.
To address the mental health issue among students, the East Brunswick Public Schools and Effective School Solutions is hosting a Parent University series for the 2021-2022 school year, focusing on the social and emotional health of students and families.
The first presentation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. The topic is “Taking a Mental Health Pulse: Student Mental Health and Academic Re-acclimation." During the presentation, the district will discuss students’ return to classrooms and COVID-19 related mental health challenges faced by the community.
