East Brunswick ShopRite Sells Winning Lottery Ticket

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Check your pockets! The East Brunswick ShopRite sold a $50,000 winning lottery ticket this week, the NJ state Lottery announced.

There were two New Jersey Lottery tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, Nov. 29 drawing, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. The winning tickets from Wednesday night’s drawing were sold at the following locations:

• Middlesex County: Shoprite #585, 14-22 Prospect Ave., East Brunswick
• Monmouth County: 7-Eleven #2412, 807 Deal Rd., Ocean

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Nov. 29 drawing were: 24, 26, 28, 59 and 63. The Red Power Ball number was 16. The Multiplier number was 03. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $177,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, Dec. 2 at 10:59 p.m. If those tickets had been purchased with the Power Play Multiplier option, they would have been worth $150,000.
