Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

My son has Autism and we moved to East Brunswick after living in our old town his whole life. He needed to start fresh and went into a new school not knowing anyone which is hard for any kid when they do not have special needs. Ms. Fischer was assigned as his teacher over the summer and was wonderful at getting him acclimated. She continued as his teacher for all of 6th grade and continued to help with his transition. She helped him make new friends and always went the extra mile to help him. She let him come into her classroom every morning early so that he could set up his materials and get ready for the day before the other kids got there. She really cares about him and is coming to other events for him outside of school.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Ms. Fischer cares so much about her students and goes the extra mile for them!
