East Brunswick's Jax Makes It To American Idol Top 3

This week, East Brunswick’s Jax turned 19, and made it to the American Idol Top 3.

The finale airs next week.

Contestants Clark Beckham and Nick Fradiani round out the American Idol Top 3, while Rayvon Owen was eliminated Wednesday, according to myCentralJersey.com.

On Wednesday, JLo told Jax: “There’s a humility and a confidence that you have which is, I think, integral for a superstar,” according to an American Idol tweet.

She sang “My Generation,’’ by The Who, “My Immortal” by Evanescence, and “Misery Business” by Paramore, according to NJ.com.

Last week, for the show’s hometown visits segment, Jax returned to East Brunswick for a parade, concert and visit to Hammarskjold Middle School.
