Camp Gan Israel Piscataway NJ - Early Bird Deadline

Camp Gan Israel of Central New Jersey is pleased to announce that its first Registration Deadline for Summer 2012, with our lowest rates, will be Friday, November 18th. Parents who register their children in our camp before that date will definitely save money! The camp will again be located in the Raritan Valley Academy in Piscataway, NJ.

Professional Supervision for all of our camp programs will be provided by Mrs. Chaya Shagalow, our Camp Director and Mark Winter, our Associate Director. Chaya brings the exuberance of youth that was demonstrated last summer by her never ending effort to develop activities that will excite and interest campers of all ages. Mark brings years of experience in camping and serves as our program coordinator and liaison with the NJ Health Department and the American Camping Association. Together, these two  camp administrators combine to provide a supervisory staff that ensures that every camper will have a fabulous summer in an extremely safe environment!

1. Tiny Tots (Boys & Girls ages 3-4)

2. Day Camp (Boys ages 5-7, Girls ages 5-12)

3. Boys Division (Boys ages 8-12)

4. Travel Camp (Girls ages 9-11)

5. Special Summer Positions

(CIT Program: Ages 14-15 & Junior Counselors:  Ages 16-17)

Camp Gan Israel of Central NJ is pleased to continue its tradition of offering summer jobs to teenagers of our local communities. These young people provide our camp with a great deal of energy and youthful exuberance that makes our camp such a special place for every child.

Junior Counselors must be at least 16 years of age and have some experience related to day camping or youth activities.

Our CIT program is open to teenagers ages 14 and 15 who will be entering the 8th and 9th grade in September 2012.  In order to apply for these summer positions, interested teenagers should obtain an application by either calling 732-296-1800 and asking for one to be mailed or going online to ganisraelnj.com and downloading our Staff Application Form from the Forms Page. 

The deadline for all applications will be Wednesday, November 30th.  Upon receipt, the application will be reviewed by our Senior Camp staff and an interview with the applicant will be arranged.
