Event In Support Of Ukraine In East Brunswick March 6

The outdoor event will be held at the Community Arts Center from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — As Russia continues to bombard some of Ukraine's largest cities, East Brunswick will be hosting an event in solidarity with Ukraine on Sunday, March 6.

The outdoor event will be held at the Community Arts Center from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Speakers are welcome.

The Township has also shared a list of agencies and organizations helping Ukrainians. They include UNICEF, the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the International Committee of the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, and the International Rescue Committee.

A number of people have been fleeing Ukraine, as Russia continues bombarding the country. An estimated 2 percent of Ukraine's population has been forced out of the country, reported the AP.
