Everything To Know About The Middlesex County Fair, Aug. 5-11

Fireworks will go off on the first and last nights of the fair, Monday, Aug. 5 and Sunday, Aug. 11. 655 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Now in its 81st year, the Middlesex County Fair will be August 5 - 11 this year, and again held at 655 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.

The cost of admission for the fair is:

  • $7 for adults
  • $4 for seniors over the age of 65
  • $1 for children between the ages of 3 and 12
  • Free for children under 2
  • There is free parking

Tickets can be bought at the fair main gates. Hours for the fair are: Monday-Friday: 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.; Saturday: 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. ; Sunday: 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Fireworks will go off on the first and last nights of the fair, Monday, Aug. 5 and Sunday, Aug. 11.

The fair will have rides, carnival games and free entertainment but also celebrate the rich agricultural heritage of Middlesex County and Central Jersey. They will also have ax throwers and log chopping tournaments (featuring all women loggers from Maine), 4-H animal expos and dog demonstrations. There will also be horse shows and clogging shows. There will also be antique tractor shows, exhibits from the New Jersey Master Gardeners, baking competitions and crafts competitions.
