EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Road flooding and downed wires in East Brunswick is affecting commuter traffic Thursday morning, authorities said.

As of 5:51 a.m., there's flooding reported on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound south of Interchange 9 - NJ 18 in East Brunswick. 1 left lane is currently closed, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.

Also, as of 5:47 a.m., there's a downed pole and downed wires on NJ 18 in both directions south of Arthur Street in East Brunswick. 2 right lanes are currently closed.
