Free Paper Shredding Event For Middlesex County Residents

Friday's paper shredding program is open to all Middlesex County residents.

A free paper shredding event will be held in New Brunswick and it is open to all Middlesex County residents.

Residents can dispose of financial statements, receipts and other sensitive documents on Friday.

A mobile paper shredding truck will be at New Brunswick High School, 1000 Somerset Street.

The event will run from 9 a.m. until noon, or until the truck is filled to capacity.

Residents can bring up to five file boxes or 100 pounds of paper to be shredded for recycling.

Paper should not be brought in plastic bags. Books, magazines, newspapers, x-rays, floppy disks and CDs are not permitted. Business and commercial paper will not be accepted.
