East Brunswick Water Repairs To Close Hardenburg Lane. See Details:

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Hardenburg Lane will be closed overnight Thursday for water utility repairs, and some residents and businesses will lose water service for a few hours, police said.

The repairs begin Thursday, Oct. 8, and continue into the early morning of Friday, Oct. 9, the East Brunswick Police Department said.

Hardenburg Lane will be closed between Riva Avenue and Fresh Ponds Road from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Water service in the affected area will be shut off from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. while crews make the repairs.

Police will be on scene to manage traffic and help drivers. Motorists should follow posted detours, slow down, use caution and expect delays. Police asked drivers to use an alternate route if possible.

Residents and businesses in the affected area were encouraged to plan ahead. Police shared a map of the impacted area with the announcement.

The department thanked the public for its patience while the repairs are completed.
