Helmetta Man Charged With Child Porn
A 24-year-old Helmetta man maintained and exchanged pornographic photos and videos on the Internet, police said.
HELMETTA, NJ - A 24-year-old Helmetta man was arrested and charged with possessing and distributing child pornography, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey said late Friday afternoon. Daniel Leal was arrested at his home Thursday and was charged with possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and intent to distribute the illicit materials.
He was charged during an investigation by the Helmetta Police Department and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. During the investigation it was determined that Leal maintained and exchanged pornographic photos and videos on the Internet.
He was being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in North Brunswick.
