Kite Flying, Golfing: 2022 East Brunswick Spring Program Guide

The programs begin in late March, and there's something for everyone.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Spring is right around the corner and The East Brunswick Recreation Department has a whole list of programs for residents.

The programs begin in late March. And there’s something for everyone.

Fly A Kite Day: On April 9, the East Brunswick Arts Commission is hosting ‘Fly A Kite Day’, at the Community Arts Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. First 100 children will get free kites. There will be kite decorating, learning how to fly a kite, food trucks, hot air balloon demonstrations and more

Daisy Breakfast: The 37th Annual Daisy Fundraiser will be held on April 10, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Enjoy the best breakfast buffet in town while supporting the Daisy Recreation program. Adults $15 and $5 for children under age 10. Find out more about the program here.

Daisy’s 3rd Annual Tricky Tray: In its 50th year, Daisy Recreation has been providing recreation programs for children and adults with disabilities. On April 22, 6 p.m. at Churchill Junior High School, have fun with friends at the 3rd Annual Daisy Tricky Tray. Donations are being accepted now through April 1st. For more details, click here.

2nd Annual East Brunswick Golf Outing: After a successful first year, the annual golf outing is back for another installment. The golf outing will be held on May 19 in partnership with the East Brunswick regional chamber of commerce. It will be held at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township. Proceeds from the event will benefit various community services like the food bank, camp scholarships and more. For player fees and other details, click here.

Field Of Flags: To honor veterans, the township is giving residents an opportunity to purchase an American flag that will be displayed at the Veterans Park from Memorial Day through Independence Day. After Independence Day residents can pick up their flags or donate them to the Township to use at additional ceremonies throughout the year. The price per flag is $50. All orders need to be in by May 20. For more details, click here.
