L.E.A.D. Fest Carnival Comes To East Brunswick Friday

Along with fairway rides, there will be performances held by Anastasini Circus.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – The L.E.A.D Festival Carnival will begin Friday at the Brunswick Square.

Hosted by Law Enforcement Against Drugs & Violence, or L.E.A.D., the carnival is open to residents from East Brunswick and surrounding communties.

“We’re excited to bring our L.E.A.D. Fest Carnival to Brunswick Square Mall as the public willget to enjoy various activities at the event,” said Nick DeMauro, CEO of L.E.A.D, said in a statement.

“We look forward to seeing the turnout as everyone who attends will help us to advance the program that we have for school children in East Brunswick, by preventing more students in the town from becoming involved with drugs and violence and continuing to improve police-community relationships.”

The carnival will be held on the following dates:

  • Friday, May 12 - Sunday, May 14
  • Wednesday, May 17 - Sunday, May 21
  • Wednesday, May 24 - Monday, May 29

The hours are:

  • Wednesday - Friday: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday/Sunday/Memorial Day: 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

L.E.A.D. is a nationwide nonprofit that works with communities to help students understand the dangers of drugs and violence. Their “In the Classroom” program is taught by 3800 trained instructors in 41 states.
