Lidl Is Coming To East Brunswick, Gets Approval From Planning Board

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Lidl Grocery store will be coming to Route 18 in East Brunswick.

The township's planning board approved the application of Lidl U.S.Operations, LLC to demolish the existing building and construct a 31,042 square foot grocery store, according to reports.

The site is located at 651 Route 18, Block 18, Lot 4.17 in the HC-2 (General Highway Commercial) Zone. The planning board meeting was held on Wednesday.

The retail chain has around 11,200 stores in 32 countries and employs more than 310,000 people globally. They have over 100 stores in nine states across the East Coast.
