Man, 70, Missing From East Brunswick

A 70-year-old man reported missing in East Brunswick was last seen in Jersey City, police say.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - A 70-year-old man with memory loss has been reported missing in East Brunswick and police are putting out an all-points bulletin to find him.

Ete Szabo, 70, (date of birth: 1/14/1947), drove away from his home at approximately 11 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26 in his red 2000 Dodge Ram pick-up, with New Jersey plates HY7566. He is a 5'08 white male, weighing 120 pounds with dirty blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a red flannel shirt with brown pants. He does suffer from memory loss but has not been diagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia, East Brunswick police said.

Szabo was last seen at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27 (before being reported missing) in the borough of Raritan at the Rt. 202 circle. Police were called there to assist a motorist, but Szabo advised authorities he was going home. Sometime later, his vehicle was observed crossing the Lincoln Highway Hackensack River Bridge in Jersey City.
