Man Committed Lewd Act At East Brunswick ShopRite, Police Say
Breaking: The same man admitted committing multiple lewd acts in East Brunswick since 2016, police said.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ ― A man has been arrested for lewdness inside his car near the East Brunswick ShopRite, and police say this is actually the fourth time he's committed similar lewd acts in the East Brunswick area.
On Saturday, May 6, someone called 911 to report a man performing a lewd act inside his vehicle in the parking lot of the Rt. 18 ShopRite. By the time police got there, he had driven off. Police canvassed the area for the car, and William Corley, 38, of Piscataway, was stopped in the area of Whitehead Ave in South River.
During the vehicle stop, the police officer said he detected the odor of raw marijuana coming from inside the Dodge. A subsequent search of Corley and his vehicle revealed a digital cigarette with a cannabis oil cartridge, 13 bags of suspected marijuana, one additional cannabis oil cartridge, one marijuana cigar, five THC infused gummies, one cannabis oil container and seven individual clear, plastic baggies containing suspected cocaine, police said.

At East Brunswick police headquarters, Corley was interviewed and admitted to the lewd act at ShopRite. He also admitted to three additional lewd acts of a similar nature in East Brunswick, dating back to 2016, police said.
He was charged with multiple counts of lewdness as well as drug charges, including cocaine and marijuana distribution, and lodged at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center in lieu of a bail hearing on all charges.
