The man was arrested on Sept. 3 at 3:50 p.m. in the afternoon: A resident in the area of Stoneridge Circle, in the Heather Glen condo complex in Helmetta off Manalapan Road, called police to report that a man was their neighborhood asking for heroin. The caller said the man was making threats, and they were worried he appeared to be armed.
Police said located the suspect, Jewell E. Sedin of New Brunswick, sitting in his car in a nearby parking lot. He was found to be in possession of 20 wax folds of heroin, a quantity of crack cocaine and six packages of suboxone, Spotswood police said. He did not have a weapon on him.
