Man Stabbed In East Brunswick, Woman Arrested
The stabbing occurred just before midnight Wednesday at a home on Rodney Road, East Brunswick police said.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — An East Brunswick woman has been arrested and is charged with stabbing a man Wednesday night at her home on Rodney Road. The man was staying at the woman's home when he was attacked, Lt. Sean Goggins said.
Raquel Guarderas, 39, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
At approximately 11:56 p.m. Wednesday, East Brunswick police were called to a home on Rodney Road for a report of an assault that involved a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, a man, in front of the home with a wound to his abdomen.

Police gave him first aid and he was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition. Guarderas' arrest was announced Thursday.
