Man Walking Home from Work Jumped in East Brunswick, Police Report
He was attacked walking down Arthur Street, police say, and wrestled with his assailant holding a knife.

East Brunswick, NJ - Police say a man walking home from work Sunday night was attacked on Arthur Street off Rt. 18 in East Brunswick.
The victim reported he had taken a taxi home after work at approximately 9:30 p.m. Sunday. He got out of the cab and began to walk towards his house on Arthur Street when he was approached from behind by an unknown assailant.
The suspect grabbed the victim and brandished a knife. The victim grabbed the knife and began to struggle with the suspect. The victim pushed the suspect away and they both fell to the ground. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim went to a local hospital with minor lacerations to his hand, and that’s when police were called.
The suspect was described as a medium-skinned male, approximately 5’07” and medium build. He was wearing a black ski mask, black pants and a dark colored jacket. Police said they aren’t sure if it was a robbery attempt as the suspect never said anything to the victim.
